Description

The house with the address St. Olavsgt. 52 is two-storied and stands on a stone foundation wall. The rectangular façade is clad with horizontal panelling that is painted green and terminates with a saddle roof. The framed corners along with the door- and window frames are all painted white. A centrally located door suggests a symmetric plan - a central corridor solution with living rooms on each side of the entrance. The double entrance door is panelled where glass has replaced the upper panels. Here the framing is simple, with carved brackets that support the weatherboard. The house has traditional Empire windows, with a central post and tripartite frames on each side.
