The building has a main storey with office counters/offices and a bottom storey with storage rooms on the quay level. A tall mansard roof with a slight bend terminates the building and an entire office storey is located in this bent section. The building is rectangular shaped, with the long side facing towards the sea. This seaside façade has side projections with throughway roof dormers. A larger rectangular section was later added to the short side of the building that faces the sea.
