The cultural centre is lavishly decorated. Located in front of the complex is an artwork titled "Øyer" (Islands) by Geir Stormoen. It is comprised of sculptural elements made of granite from Lødingen, which are situated like "islands" on the quay. Next to the entrance is a piece called "Spor" (Traces) by Unni Johnsen. This artwork is comprised of glazed and unglazed ceramic tiles that are attached to a column in front of the main entrance along with the slanted wall and the lobby floor. Inside the building Kaisa Zetterquist has adorned the walls along the main staircase with paintings.
