Description
The altar wall was painted by Axel Revold, most likely with a fresco technique. This means that the artist paints on wet plaster. The motif is of the Pentecost - when the Apostles, who are depicted below, received the Holy Spirit. This is symbolised by the flames above their heads. It is possible to identify several of the individuals, for example Peter who stands on the far right.
