Description

The buildings have a basic rectangular ground plan, though some have stairwells going into extensions. All have strong relief external board on board cladding and steep pitched slate roofs. Two buildings have stairwells with hipped roofs.

Style-wise these buildings are closest to Norwegian neo-classist architecture which was prevalent during the period 1900-1935. Elements such as dormers, stairwells and window positioning define three clear pairs of buildings.
