"Nordre Tollbodgate – Storgata til Dramsveien" (2 of 5)
Description
Storgata 128 is a one and a half storey building in the Swiss chalet style. Below the ground floor sill band the wooden cladding is vertical and above this level horizontal. Its windows have crossing mullions and transoms and its slate roof has extended eaves. The building was originally a house, but is now used as offices. The property's former outbuilding (combined woodshed, toilet and cattle shed) has been converted into offices and connected to the main building by a new one storey wing. In this way the courtyard has kept much of its character and it is sheltered towards the street by a medium tall wooden wall which create a sense of private space.
