Description

Both houses have a lower ground floor cut into the hillside, and on three sides the walls are made of site-cast concrete with the fourth side built as timber stud frames, as are the walls of the upper floor. The external walls have vertical wood-stained cladding, the windows are single-paned and the roofing material is concrete slates. Designed in 1966, the houses fulfilled the requirements of the Norwegian State Housing Bank.
