Description
The sculptural shape of Strandgata 22 shows the architects' intention of making it fit in to a town quarter that is a conservation area. The eaves of the large hipped roof move up and down in response to the neighbours and the openings on each side of the front elevation allow their side walls and roofs to be exposed. The design was developed in dialogue with conservation officers.
