The south facade is symmetrical about the main entrance and the vestibule has the same steep roof angle as the nave. The double main door has a narrower fanlight which is of the same size as the ones above the doors leading into the aisles. The windows high up on the gable have semicircular arches and this window format is repeated all the way around the building including the apse.
Originally the vestibule was an open porch, but due to the harsh climate it was enclosed. The door leading into the nave is the same as when the chapel was first built.
