Description
Multiple wall sections on the façade are recessed, ultimately creating a room that is open to the outdoors - a protected terrace or a loggia-like room. Loggia is an Italian word meaning arcade. As a recessed section of the façade, the outer walls are usually replaced with either pillars or columns.
