Here is The National Norwegian Sámi Reindeer Herders Association building, as seen from the courtyard. The original plan was to reconstruct and renovate the existing structure. However, it was in such poor condition that it had to be torn down. Nevertheless the older building's character is still reflected in the new building. For example, the old gateway, this is seen on the right of the photograph. This is a multi-storied exhibition area. Glass has been employed in both the entrance from the street Grønnegata and in the termination of the gallery section towards the courtyard. This provides light for the premises.
