"Storgata 95" (3 of 3)
Description
Elements from Classical architecture can be seen in many of Tromsø's Empire style buildings, particularly noticeable in the portals. Slender fluting columns distinguish the entrance door. The columns have capitals and support a frieze band with triglyphs and metopes. The portal terminates with a corbelled cornice. The double door is panelled and originally had a lunette window above, what used to be glass has been replaced with painted wood.
