Description
Nordlandsmuseet is a direct descendant of Nordland Fishing Museum, which was founded in 1888. They operated from rented premises until this building was completed in 1904. The remit of the original museum was to promote understanding and knowledge of contemporary fishing methods and product development by showcasing equipment and products.
