Description

Bodø's Freemasons' Hall is a large inward facing nearly cuboid rendered brick building with entrances from Rensåsgata and Fredensborgveien, and it is surrounded by an open space with lawns and trees.

The front facade has two avant-corps and the main entrance is placed centrally between them. This emphasizes the height and the grand stairs and portal with columns, Corinthian capitals and entablature. Behind the tall part protruding cornice sits a low hipped roof. The style is Nordic Classism, in this case with roots in the renaissance.
