Sonjatun Health Centre is situated towards the east end of the village Storslett along the main road RV865. The centre consists of four principal building parts: parallel with the main road two long three storey wings with patient rooms; these are connected by a four storey section and at the back or more precisely on the north eastern side is a two storey block. The main entrance is via a link between the two latter parts.

Sonjatun is named after Sonja, the then Norwegian crown princess, who attended the official opening of the health centre in 1977. She has also selected the interesting collection of art, which can be seen at the centre.
