This six-storied block of flats is situated in Tromsø's town centre, adjacent to Kongeparken, one of the largest parks in town. The building is situated in a district with corresponding high and low-rising town centre buildings, the façade follows the form of the site. The flat roofed block holds flats which face all different directions and have from one to three terraces. From the west side, the building appears to be closed volume. The façade is clad with horizontal panelling made of Siberian larch wood, and faces the street with narrow window bands. On this side of the building, the terrain slopes upwards alongside the street. Here the narrow windows function to enforce privacy, while at the same time provide the building with an urban quality.
